A fairly valid question. I guess people like to know a little bit about the people they are reading the opinions of. It gives the reader an idea if they jabe anything in common with the blogger and lets them know if they are coming from similar backgrounds so their view are more likely to match theirs.
After all if I'm the prince of Denmark my life experiences aren't likely to match up with a dock worker from a port town in England.
So here goes...
I go by the name Renaise pretty much all over the internet. Im 31 and I'm from the UK, London England to be a bit more precise.
Anyway I've been what would be considered socially to be a "nerd" or "geek" for pretty much my entire life. (And by that I mean real, traditional nerd/geek rather than the fashion statement geek chic fad of the last few years - not that there is anything wrong with that and I shall be getting to that in a blog post to come.)
My interests include (but are not exclusive to) Video games, Comic books, Collectable card games, Tabletop roleplaying games, reading (mainly fantasy) novels, writing (mainly fantasy) stories, Text based roleplaying (never tried LARPing sadly) Many genres of movies (yes I even watch some romantic comedies... don't judge me) Occasional forays into watching WWE wrestling, and cooking awesome food on a budget. (The budget part is sadly out of my control as much as I'd love to cook with black truffles)
How much of that I will cover here exactly I guess we shall see (not sure there is much of an audience for my opinion on the latest Bradley Cooper rom com here but I guess there might be?) However I'm sure a lot of it will be. I'll even be hoping to try ouy new things I have been reluctant to try before in the name of blog-science.
Well thats about that for now. Next up ill be doing an introduction to each subject (video games/books/films ect) and how they relate to me in a little more detail.
